Meet the Maker

Hello,

My name is Sian & I am the creator behind Bridget Rose Jewellery. My handmade jewellery is designed & created on the Isle of Portland, the beautiful South Coast of Dorset.

When I am not at the bench making, you will find me exploring the outdoors with my partner & our two dogs, with a camera in hand. Whether that is a beach on the Jurassic Coast or ticking off a Wainwright fell in our hometown, The Lake district. Rest assured any adventure will conclude with a coffee & cake.

My jewellery journey began in retail, with 12 years’ experience proudly working for two family-owned
jewellers’. Having the honour of working alongside some prestigious brands like Gucci, Clogau, Theo Fennell, Links of London, Thomas Sabo & many more. I gained endless knowledge & experience of working with precious metals, gemstones & exquisite diamonds, including naturally Coloured & Canadian Diamonds.

My favourite part was creating the relationships I had with my customers. Seeing them return over the years for life celebrations like birthdays, weddings, new jobs, anniversaries or even the hard times too. I was privileged to share these moments with them & build a strong trust. One day I thought to myself imagine if they were purchasing something I had made, wouldn’t that be magical…

…Fast forward a few years & many dreams about Bridget Rose Jewellery, here I am inspired & determined by that magical thought.

In 2024 I was awarded The Silver Diploma certificate for completing the course with the Jewellers Academy, investing in building my confidence & skill set with silver smithing resulting in creating my website. I am now continuing my learning with The Fine Jewellery Diploma. Where I will further my stone setting skills & develop my designs to include gold.

I often get asked ‘what type or style of jeweller I am’ and honestly I don’t know yet but what I do know is I want to make jewellery that you can treasure, that represents life’s moments or sparks memories. In doing so I hope we can share those together.
